About
Rural America Missions is the culmination of 20yrs. of Dreaming
My wife Diana and I first saw the need for developing a 'come along side to help' ministry for rural areas in the mid 1980's. At that time we were too inexperienced to know how to go about developing it. Our lives changed and we eventually ended up in an inner city ministry that would see a church planted and two ministry school started.
It was from this ministry that we were called again to rural America. From Albuquerque to Williston, ND. We had no idea the adventure that awaited us. Thank God He always sees the end from the beginning. We are grateful to be allowed to serve Him in churches small and large, wherever we are called.
Dreams Just Keep Getting Bigger
As our dream for reaching America continues to grow we are amazed at the Lord's confidence in us that He would dream such wonderful things through us and for us.
Among His dreams is the Campground that you can find in this website. This Campground will be used for developing leadership for His church. By focusing on those He is calling who have not yet entered their academic training we hope to raise up a generation of men and women who walk in the anointing that breaks the yoke and brings liberty to this generation.
As we develop the camp ministry we hope to raise up outreach teams who will be used to go into the region and minister to communities throughout America. The two weeks of training while at the camp will help to prepare them for Holy spirit ministry.
The camp will also be used as an outreach site for such things as "Bikers Outreach" and "Cowboy Church".
We are only weeks away from being able to secure this campgroud. Please pray with us that in the weeks ahead we will see this dream become an open door.

Connecting the Dots
All of us deal with our past and our heritage. Our families bring both strengths and weaknesses and what we overcome is often more significant than the gifts we have been endowed with.
In my family as in all families we have the merging of two significant influences. In my case, the Whitney(my mother) blood line and the Bauman(that of my father) bloodline.
The Whitney bloodline included that of my Grandfather James B. Whitney, a pentecostal minister and a true pioneer of the gospel. It also included my Grandmother Winifred. Grandma's prayer life and her love kept me covered during some very dark and rebellious times.
